2025 Pennsylvania Sports Business Conference Research Award

The Department of Finance and Economics is pleased to recognize economics majors Emily Schumacher and Micaela Jebitsch, who shared the results of their research completed as part of the econometrics course sequence in economics at the 2025 Pennsylvania Sports Business Conference, 鈥淚nclusive Leadership in Sports.鈥

Yerger Receives 2025 Garvin-Kort Faculty Award for Research in Economics

David Yerger has been selected as the recipient of the 2025 Garvin-Kort Faculty Award for Research in Economics. Generous donations from 1981 IUP Distinguished Alumni Award recipient John Kort 鈥74 and the late Alexander Garvin, economics faculty 1969鈥98, provide support for faculty research.聽
