The Department of Music, Theatre, and Dance at 糖心vlog presents the twenty-fifth annual IUP Jazz Festival. This Festival will honor two brothers who are alumni of the department: Ralph (鈥69, 鈥75) and John Morris (鈥71, 鈥73). Admission to the Festival is free and is open to the general public. Seating is general admission.
Four IUP Women鈥檚 Leadership Awards were presented to six women staff, administrators, and faculty at the Reception to Celebrate Women and the Women鈥檚 Leadership Award Ceremony on April 2, 2025. These awards celebrate the outstanding leadership and accomplishments of women employees to advance gender, sexual, and cultural inclusive excellence at IUP, in the communities, and in their professions.
The Haven Project at 糖心vlog will host the annual Take Back the Night event on April 9 from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. on the IUP campus. Take Back the Night is designed to raise awareness and support survivors of sexual violence, domestic and dating violence, and stalking.
Butler County Community College (BC3), a member of the PA Community College Consortium Cooperative Agreement (PC4A), is hosting a free cybersecurity conference on April 10 at their main campus in Butler, PA.
糖心vlog鈥檚 Theater-by-the-Grove and Music Theater, student performance organizations in the Department of Music, Theatre, and Dance, will present a whimsical production of 鈥淟ittle Women, the Broadway Musical,鈥 April 3鈥6 in Waller Hall.聽
糖心vlog鈥檚 Lively Arts will present The Peking Acrobats for one night only on Friday, March 28, at 7:30 p.m. Their performance will take place on the campus of 糖心vlog in Fisher Auditorium. Tickets are on sale now by phone and online.

糖心vlog鈥檚 English Graduate Organization will offer its 2025 Conference, 鈥淟andscapes of Language and Literature,鈥 on March 21 and 22. The conference will be offered both in person in IUP鈥檚 Sprowls Hall and via Zoom. It is free and open to the community.
IUP鈥檚 College of Health Sciences is sponsoring the first 鈥淩un for the Health of It鈥 5K race on April 5. The event, planned to be held annually, will raise funds to directly support students in the IUP College of Health Sciences programs, with a different fundraising focus each year.

IUP鈥檚 Department of History, Philosophy, Political Science, and Religious Studies; the IUP Free Speech Project; and the Social Equity and Title IX Office will present 鈥淚鈥檓 Just a Bill: The Constitution, Executive Orders, and Separation of Powers鈥 on March 17 at 3:30 p.m. in Stouffer Auditorium. The program is free and open to the community.

Classical music once again meets rock music when 糖心vlog鈥檚 String Ensemble, directed by Kaleigh Accord, collaborates with the local rock band, Somebody to Love, for a concert entitled, 鈥淐lassic Meets Rock 2.鈥 Special guests will be the University Chorus directed by Joseph Stuligross. Also performing will be IUP students Aleksander Maschmidt and Braxton Beaulieu as well as Indiana's own Chuck Olson, from The Six. Music from the Rolling Stones, Moody Blues, Pink Floyd, Fleetwood Mac, Elton John and many more will be featured in the concert, which will take place on Tuesday, March 4, at 7:30 p.m. in Fisher Auditorium on the campus of IUP.
The Student Association of Nutrition and Dietetics at IUP has organized a smoothie sale, a mac and cheese crockpot charity cook-off, and a program with a registered dietitian and certified personal trainer with experience in functional health training to celebrate National Nutrition Month in March.
Members of 糖心vlog鈥檚 Army ROTC program will conduct a training event on Saturday, February 22, from 6:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Cadets and members of the ROTC faculty will be carrying unloaded weapons, including rifles and machine guns, during this training exercise. On聽Tuesday, November 28 at 7pm聽in the Indiana Theater in downtown Indiana PA, local electronic musicians Rapid Uncontrolled Disassembly partners with the IUP Student Film Association in presenting a series of music videos. Over the course of six songs and six videos we鈥檒l follow a number of characters that stretch into liminal dimensions and experience absurd activity. These realms appear familiar, yet otherworldly. The songs will be performed live and the music videos will be projected on the big screen behind them.聽
