Monique Feliciano Labrador has been selected as the IUP Punxsutawney Person of Purpose for January/February 2021.聽This award recognizes a student who has shown academic excellence and good work ethic and who actively participates in the classroom.
The Punxsutawney Area Chamber of Commerce, Inc. in partnership with the Jefferson County Development Corporation seeks a summer intern to support local economic and community development initiatives. The student will gain valuable experience while being mentored by seasoned professionals.

IUP Punxsutawney has teamed up with the Punxsutawney Chamber of Commerce and Punxsutawney Area School District to develop a pilot program to teach soft skills to a group of high school juniors and seniors.
